This completely renovated cottage offers the perfect blend of modern features and amenities plus cozy character. While enjoying your stay, you'll feel the "mountain vibes" thanks to some of the original preserved features such as the character of the original hardwood floors, wall finishes, live edge wood slab bar that have been lovingly refinished for a warm and inviting atmosphere. This open floor plan cottage is spacious, featuring two King-sized bedrooms and a bathroom with an oversized walk-in subway tile shower that offers a stunning view of the lake through the shower window. The large comfortable living room provides ample seating for friends and family, with a futon available for extra sleeping space if needed. The electric fireplace situated inside the original brick fireplace, completely refinished, serves as the room's focal point, complemented by accent lighting and a large flat-screen television where you can stream, watch live TV, or enjoy cable channels, including the premium package featuring popular sports and event channels. The spacious kitchen is both warm and inviting in this open floor plan design that offers all stainless-steel appliances and live edge bar offering additional seating + added kitchen workspace. If you have a boat and plan to bring it or if you plan to rent a boat while you’re here, the boat dock is a private one-slip boat dock. You’re welcome to rent the boat slip for an additional $75/day, and the owner’s boat can be moved to another rental spot for those days. If you do plan to bring your boat, please note that and request it in your reservation.
Lake Blue Ridge Marina bar and grill is less than a five-minute boat ride from Wet Feet Retreat and less than 10 minutes by car. As they say, “It’s a Sunny Spot for Shady People”, so you must check it out. They have a wonderful staff ,and the food and drinks are all fantastic.
There is no shortage of entertainment at the property, including the terrace-level Recreation/Game Room that features ping pong. Also, you will find darts, swinging ring toss, corn hole, horseshoes as well as several board games and card games to enjoy. There are also some mountain-themed puzzles if you want to keep your mind “puzzled” while on vacation. Check out one of the favorite games of the past, Monopoly, mountain style, and Blue Ridge Opoly.
